HD1035 offers incremental backup; upon first connection it will automatically find all of the user data files and copy them to the hard drive. Each time after that, it will only back up the new files or the ones that have changed.

While the software’s default settings will probably be sufficient for most users, it is user-modifiable, providing full control over the backup settings. Even after the settings have been changed, the backup will still run without any user interaction.

This is by far the easiest, fastest backup drive I've ever used. Backed up everything on my pc (and another external hard drive) quickly. All files are easy to access and view. I highly recommend Clickfree drives for anyone concerned about losing precious data.

This is the fourth external hard drive I've purchased in 5 years. All the others were hard to set up. Some worse than others. The HP Pocket Drive even came with incomplete instructions.  The Clickfree was as easy, and performed exactly as advertised. I have backed up two computers, and been able to easily transfer files between them.  Nobody is perfect. This product came with minimal information. Download the Guides from their Web-site. The one for Windows is 64 pages, and well worth printing out.  I highly recommend the product. Well worth the price.
